Soleia is a puppy from of our very own breeding program, and from the moment she was born, I knew there was something special about her and that she needed to stay right here with us. She has grown into everything we strive to produce in our program and more.

Soleia has a strong, substantial build with a larger frame and beautiful overall structure. She has a striking, feminine head with a stunning black mask that gives her such an expressive look. Her rich, deep red pigmentation paired with her dark black coat makes her incredibly eye catching. She has beautiful bone, substance, and presence while still maintaining the femininity and elegance we love to see in our females.

Soleia is confident, self assured, and has the absolute sweetest soul. She is truly my shadow and wants to be wherever I am. She is incredibly intelligent and willing to work, yet has a wonderful off switch and is just as happy settling in with the family. She absolutely adores our children, has never met a stranger, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She has also been raised around our chickens, rabbits, and horses and takes everything in stride.

Her sire is the legendary VA Solaar du Val D’Anzin, bringing exceptional West German Show Line genetics into our program. Soleia is a beautiful representation of what we work toward here at Hughston German Shepherds: confidence, intelligence, versatility, stable temperament, and a dog who can be part of everyday family life.
